Plaid Recolors of Maxis Blue Suede Chair

November 13, 2017

I have a friend who has a son.  Well, actually, I have a lot of friends who have sons.  But this is a particular friend with a particular son.  We would occasionally have a girl’s night at this friend’s house and her son occasionally wanted her attention to tell her something important during those evenings.  Things like ‘the dog just ate a Lego’ or ‘whatever my sister is about to tell you about me is not true and actual fact.’  To get her attention, he would stand next to her, flap his arms like a skinny, blonde bird, and repeatedly say “Acknowledge me! Acknowledge me!” until she acknowledged him.

This has absolutely nothing to do with plaid recolors of the Maxis Blue Suede chair.  It does, rather vaguely, have something to do with the reason I haven’t updated in almost a month.  I have chronic health problems.  While I am always aware of these problems, occasionally they really want my attention and will start flapping around and saying “Acknowledge me!  Acknowledge me!” until I finally acknowledge them and then they hit me over the head and I disappear for almost a month.  Sometimes two.  Eventually I make it back, though by that point I have forgotten which font I was using for graphics or that I need to increase the canvas size on my old pictures so they fit the blog format and suddenly I find I have another use for the old graphic we used as a category placeholder on Seriously Amused Sims:

So after making you sit through all of that, here, have some plaid chairs:

  1. Love the chairs. There are a couple of them I would like to have in my own RL house. I know what you are talking about with the chronic ailments hitting you over the head, though mine don’t usually take me out for that long. Hope they will leave you alone for a while now so you can enjoy the holidays. Hugs

    1. Thank you. This winter has been a harsh one with the rapid and severe temperature changes. A lot of people with chronic health problems are having a hard time. Definitely dreaming of spring!
