And now that I think about it, I believe it was originally uploaded to the
Neighborhood 99 POBS way back when. I made it for someone, I just can't
remember who at the moment. I'm a thrilling storyteller, aren't I?
I'll find the blog post with that information eventually.
And speaking of blog posts, I added another page from my old blog in Blog Posts Past (page 3) because,
well, I wanted to. It's the exciting story of why I made the Maxis
Match recolors of CTNutmegger's waterbed mesh. You'll be enthralled,
I'm sure.
Enjoy and thank you for visiting.

Through the magic
of ftp, everything should be working now. Well, everything except one house
(Down Your Street) that I have somehow lost along the way. I've asked Hannah
to see if she has it lurking anywhere in her old files. But other than that,
the site should be working.
As I just uploaded the old website
pretty much the way it was, everything you see is from Seriously Amused Sims.
Anything that I made for the Basically Amused Sims blog (R.I.P.) will be
uploaded eventually. I need to actually create pages for those files and
that's going to take a little more computer work than my easily annoyed body
will appreciate. But I'll get there, bit by bit. It will also take some time
to repaint all the references to Seriously Amused Sims so they say Basically
Amused Sims. All that aside, I hope you enjoy the downloads and thank you
for visiting.
p.s. If you find something that
isn't working, please send me an email to let me know. Thanks.

So you might have
noticed things look very Seriously-Amused-Sims-ish around here. There's
a reason for that. Or multiple reasons for that. So, let us take them in
order:
The first is the taste, which
is meagre and hollow, but crisp.
Wait, no, that's the first of
the five unmistakable marks of the warrented genuine Snark.
Let's try the reasons why the
blog wasn't working out:
It disappeared. A blog literally disappearing
is a big reason for it not working out. No getting around that one.
Wordpress had updated to some weird thing I didn't like. It was a
pain to use and made even reposting what I had already written the first
time around very frustrating. Based on Wordoress forum posts, I am not alone
in feeling this way.
The most important reason is I can't handle being on the computer
due to physical health problems. As a friend of mine used to say when she
didn't like something: "Boo! Hiss!" (She was the height of eloquence.)
I still had a backup of Seriously
Amused Sims on my computer, so I decided the easiest thing to do was just
upload that. Voila! Instant Sims 2 website. I didn't even have to add water.
The design is very 2007, but most of the stuff around here is retro, so why
not a retro site design too? I'd do a genuine mid-century style design, but
since the internet didn't exist back then, that would just be a nonexistent
website. Which actually, now that I think about it, Wordpress did for me
when the blog disappeared.
I'll start uploading files soon.
Thank you for your patience. Not that you have a whole lot of choice in
the matter, but I appreciate it all the same.
